About PesoPlan
Free, accurate Philippine finance tools — no sign-up, no fluff.
PesoPlan is built by a small independent team that got tired of confusing, ad-stuffed finance pages and inconsistent numbers. We make simple, accurate calculators and comparisons for everyday money questions in the Philippines: take-home pay, SSS / PhilHealth / Pag-IBIG contributions, 13th-month pay, freelancer tax, loans, savings, digital banks, and credit cards.
How we keep figures accurate
Money information is only useful if it's correct, so we take it seriously:
- Tax and contribution rates are based on official sources — BIR (TRAIN), SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG — and we cite them on each page.
- Every calculator's math is unit-tested against worked examples, so the numbers you see match the rules.
- We show a "last updated" date and re-check rates when the government or providers change them.
- For fast-changing figures (bank and loan rates), we mark how current they are and tell you to confirm with the provider.
How the site is funded
PesoPlan is free to use. To keep it running we may show ads and use affiliate links — if you sign up for a product through some of our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes our rankings or the numbers; comparisons are ordered on the merits, and we disclose affiliate links where they appear.
Not financial advice
Our tools give estimates for educational purposes and are not financial, tax, or legal advice. Your actual figures can differ, and rules change — always confirm with the relevant agency, your employer, or a licensed professional for decisions that matter.
